Datura, also known as Angel's Trumpet, has been used by Shamans in religious rites and vision quests for centuries. It is a powerful hallucinogen but also extremely toxic and very dangerous!! Magically datura is said to have the power to break spells and offer protection from negative spirits. It is associated with dreams, visions and psychic protection. In spite of its beauty, never, never eat this plant as it is incredibly poisonous!! Even a very small amount can lead to madness and a painful death!
